COVID Reopen & Safety Measures
TBF Community,
It feels like forever since we’ve last connected when it’s only been a few days! We hope everyone is staying healthy and able to make the most out of the stay in place order that some states like Michigan has. As mentioned previously we have closed our facility the week of March 23rd in compliance with the Sate of Michigan’s Governor, Gretchen Whitmer. This is a 3 week “Stay In Place” order that other states have also initiated. With the order of only essential business operations, we have been observing how things are progressing over the week in addition to taking inventory of your needs as a TBF customer.
After evaluation we’ve decided to provide order fulfillment on Tuesday and Thursday for the weeks of March 30th and April 6th. We understand that some businesses are still operating at some capacity and feel it is an essential element of our business to be able to support those customers during this sensitive times. We will continue to operate at our previously implemented high alert level of safety from an operational perspective that includes the following procedures:
- Facility lock down while only allowing up to 3 TBF Team Members who have been cleared by myself for work. (Employees must follow self-quarantine protocol while at home on personal time)
- CDC recommended 6’ clearance between employees at all times.
- Disposable, medical grade gloves have been made available and required to TBF Team Members while onsite.
- Commercial grade face masks have been provided during order processing.
- Full cleaning procedure of shipping area at the conclusion of each day as an added safety measure.
