Ensuring Safety and Quality: PFAs Testing
At The Bear Factory, we are dedicated to the highest standards of safety and quality in every plush product we create. That’s why we are pleased to announce that we are now testing our entire product line for PFAs (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). PFAs are commonly used in products for their anti-wrinkle, stain, and water repellent properties.
Our commitment extends through 2025 as we diligently test each item to ensure there are no instances of PFAs present. Although we do not anticipate finding many, if any, PFAs in our line due to our manufacturing practices and materials, we are taking proactive measures to guarantee the safety of our products for our customers and the environment.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission requires strict testing of Child Products. The Bear Factory has followed these guidelines since 2001 as we are committed to providing only the highest safety standards.
