Every year, 2 million children under the age of 5 die from infections like diarrhea and pneumonia. A lot of these deaths can be prevented by the simple act of washing hands with soap.

We created our care line to help keep our plushies clean and safe for young ones, while also challenging you to Demand More while Consuming Less. Join us in our mission of supporting our planet by taking care of your bears and buddies and yourself. These soaps not only serve as a cleanser for your plushies but also as a clean, holistic approach to washing your hands.

The tradition in the Utari village in Indonesia is to plant a tree when a child is born. However, due to diarrhea and pneumonia, every day around 5,000 children under the age of 5 pass away. All that remains is the tree that has been planted. Lifebuoy has taken the initiative to teach healthy hand-washing habits to the villagers of Bitobe, Indonesia.

Every 15 seconds, one child dies from diarrhea or pneumonia, diseases that are preventable through the simple act of handwashing with soap. Lifebuoy has taken its handwashing behavior change programs to 183 million people across the world, and now it is committed to changing the handwashing behavior of a billion people by 2015. This is part of Unilever’s commitment to help more than one billion people improve their health and hygiene by 2020 under the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan
