Letter from Chief of Operations Jimmy Banish:

TBF Community,

I hope everyone is having a terrific summer season so far and has had an opportunity to enjoy the weather change (for those of you with multiple seasons like us here in Michigan). As you probably already know supply chains across almost every industry have been disrupted due to the post-COVID demand the market is seeing. The plush industry is no different as we have been battling raw material, labor, exchange rate, and ocean freight increases on almost a weekly basis. Due to these factors, we are anticipating a potential price increase on some of our product lines by the end of the summer/early fall.

These potential increases would be determined by the previously mentioned factors and would rolled out as impacted product runs come into circulation. We are doing our best to avoid a blanket increase across all items but things are still in motion at the moment. We are doing our best to absorb as much of these costs as we know you are most likely experiencing price increases in other areas of your business operations as well.

We will do our best to keep you informed further but please be aware of this as you start to look towards the start of the school year and holiday season. I will be sure to provide an additional update once we have more information regarding this but I wouldn’t anticipate having that information until the end of July at this moment in time.
